Crafort Co.,Ltd. the operating company of KANJI TOKYO (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”), hereby establishes the following Terms of Use for the Internet Booking System (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) in order to ensure the proper use of the event booking service operated by the Company (hereinafter referred to as “the Service”).
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
These Terms shall apply to all users (hereinafter referred to as “Users”) of the Service provided by the Company.
Article 2 (Contents of the Service)
The Service refers to the online system through which the Company accepts bookings for events and cultural experiences it offers.
Article 3 (Conditions of Use)
Users shall comply with these Terms and other related rules established by the Company.
When making a booking, Users shall accurately register the information required by the Company, including name, address, telephone number, and email address.
The Service is subject to certain operational limitations. Users agree not to demand services beyond such limitations or any reduction in fees.
Article 4 (Formation of Contract)
A service contract between the User and the Company is deemed to be established when a confirmation message is displayed on the browser or when a confirmation email is sent.
Article 5 (Cancellation of Booking)
If the Company determines that a User has violated these Terms or related policies, or engaged in any prohibited acts set forth in Article 6, the Company may cancel the booking without prior notice.
Article 6 (Prohibited Acts)
Users shall not engage in the following acts:
- Making false bookings or providing false information
- Impersonating others
- Making bookings on behalf of others without consent
- Bookings made by members of antisocial forces (e.g., organized crime groups)
- Disrupting the Service or causing damage to the Company
- Infringing upon the rights of other Users or third parties
- Using the Service for commercial purposes such as resale or paid mediation
- Violating laws or public order and morals
- Any other acts deemed inappropriate by the Company
Article 7 (Cancellation and Changes)
If Users wish to cancel or change their booking, they must do so via the method specified by the Company, and such change shall be valid only upon the Company’s approval.
A cancellation fee will apply depending on the timing of cancellation. Details are specified on the booking page.
Article 8 (Handling of Personal Information)
The Company will not disclose Users’ personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
(1) When required by law
(2) With the User’s consent
(3) In case of an emergency where disclosure is deemed necessary
The Company may use anonymized statistical data derived from User behavior for marketing or analysis purposes.
The Company shall handle Users’ personal information appropriately in accordance with its [Privacy Policy].
Article 9 (Suspension of the Service)
The Company may temporarily suspend the Service without prior notice in the following cases:
- System maintenance or inspection
- Equipment failure or malfunction
- Network issues
- Other unavoidable circumstances as determined by the Company
Article 10 (Disclaimer)
If a User causes damage or disadvantage to a third party through use of the Service, the User shall resolve such issue at their own responsibility and expense. The Company shall bear no liability.
The Company shall not be liable for any damages caused by the inability to use the Service due to reasons specified in Article 9.
Article 11 (Changes to the Terms)
The Company may modify these Terms without prior notice. Continued use of the Service after the revision shall constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
Article 12 (Good Faith Negotiation)
In the event of any issues not specified in these Terms or any disputes regarding interpretation, the Company and the User shall discuss in good faith to reach a resolution.
Article 13 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising in relation to the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the district or summary court having jurisdiction over the Company’s registered address as the court of first instance.
Article 14 (Copyright)
Copyrights of calligraphy artworks, background paintings (sumi-e or color ink paintings), and items such as T-shirts, hand towels, or tote bags created using such works through the Service shall belong to the Company or the contracted calligraphy artist.
Users may use the works for personal and non-commercial purposes only. Any reproduction, modification, redistribution, or commercial use without permission is strictly prohibited.
Even if a work contains the User’s name, the Company or the artist may use the work for marketing purposes (such as social media posts or portfolio samples), and the User agrees to such use. However, if the use includes personally identifiable information, prior consent will be obtained.
