Several works by the calligraphy artist MADARA have been selected for “Postmodernism: Japan,” a featured collection published on the global art platform Singulart.
This curation was created by Beatrice Campi, an independent curator based in Milan, Italy. The theme highlights the expressions of Japanese postmodern art within contemporary culture, showcasing artists whose works combine tradition, abstraction, and spiritual depth.
These artworks were chosen for their distinctive blend of tradition, abstraction, and spiritual intent— a hallmark of MADARA’s Hisseki-jutsu calligraphy. The curator described the collection as a celebration of Japanese aesthetics, where beauty is conveyed not through color alone, but through the power of line, form, and silence.
MADARA will continue to share the depth of Japanese calligraphy with audiences around the world through exhibitions, online platforms, and international collaborations.
