I tried drawing a dragon with gold India ink,

Yesterday, I tried drawing a dragon on the theme of The Great Wave off Kanagawa from the Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji ukiyo-e, but I scrapped it because the impression I got was different from what I had in mind. This is it.

However, when I was thinking about how I really wanted to create a cool version of the dragon that is popular among men and how to create a sumi-e that could also be printed, I thought that a golden-colored dragon like The Great Wave off Kanagawa that could be printed on a black T-shirt would look cool, so I tried drawing it.

It’s not bad. It’s not bad, but there’s something missing. I’ll think about it more carefully.
